The laboratory provides routine analysis and interpretation of lubricating oil, coolant, grease, diesel and emulsion fluids. We also specialise in a range of microscopy techniques to identify material from filters and magnetic plugs.

How do I go about getting some analysis work done?

Purchase the kit from any Hastings Deering outlet, take the sample as instructed, return it to us using the included pre-paid mailing option and we’ll do the rest.

When I get results, what will it tell me?
