Hastings Deering have been providing fluid analysis to various industries since 1973. Our modern ISO 9001 accredited laboratory located at Archerfield, Brisbane specialises in the analysis of fluids and debris from machinery across all industries. The laboratory provides routine analysis and interpretation of lubricating oil, coolant, grease, diesel and emulsion fluids. We also specialise in a range of microscopy techniques to identify material from filters and magnetic plugs.

Our dedicated team provide timely analysis and interpretation of your samples to assist you with your maintenance processes. All results can be viewed through our Oil Commander software. A user friendly, internet application that allows you to manage and assess your analysis results online from anywhere in the world you have internet access.

Oil Commander allows you to manage your Fluid Analysis program on line. This internet based product shows you your information in real time from anywhere in the world you have web access. You can print sample cards, review data, graph trends, record maintenance information, track your samples and many other tasks with this powerful product.  Centrifugal Filtercake Sample Kits (SOS15) are now available.

Hastings Deering have introduced an analysis to monitor the material captured in the filter cake of your COF systems. The SOS15 Filtercake tool allows you to sample your filtercake in a consistent method for laboratory analysis.

How do I go about getting some analysis work done?

Purchase the kit from any Hastings Deering outlet, take the sample as instructed, return it to us using the included pre-paid mailing option and we’ll do the rest.

Can I buy the kits on-line?

Yes, these can be purchased via Parts.Cat.Com, or by emailing us, using the part numbers shown here.

When I get results, what will it tell me?

Depending on what you have analysed, you will receive an analysis of the key parameters as well as advice as to whether your values are typical or atypical. Also included is a commentary on suggested maintenance, if required.

Can I view my results online?

Yes, results are available through our secure online Oil Commander page. This package allows you to view your results live anywhere in the world, where Internet access is available.
